Re: just found this
It would appear there's an awful lot wrong or missing with this model, it seems to have a June 1944 turret on a January 1944 hull, and therefore the gun Muzzle is also incorrect.
How do these comapnies get away with advertising statements saying the model 'accutately replicates all the technical details'

Re: just found this
Hi Chris,
I read that to mate . But if you look on the German eBay theres quiet alot of these magazine issues for sale . I though about just getting the turret esembly and making it and mounting it on a board as static .

So they are obviously not selling. Not surprising when you can get a better equivalent today at less than half the price. A static Tiger, metal or not for that price is ridiculous.
Maybe they should have done a bit more market research before they launched it, in which case they would have learned that the majority of customers would be tank enthusiasts who know a damn sight more than the publishers about Tigers and would be sure to pounce on any incorrect or missing detail.
I've started a couple of this type of project and they are never worth the money. The bits come from China and cost a few pennies per issue and the mags themselves are of little value, give you plenty of over sized photos that have invariably been published elsewhere at some time and little other information. It is cheaper to publish big photos than pay somebody to write text and it shows.
The only magazine project I found worthwhile was "Real Robots" but even that got silly after a couple of years. However one day I will get around to transfering the electronics to an empty tank hull together with a better drive system and uprated driver board, which is why I started the project in the first place.

Re: just found this
Hi mate yeah I got that for my son and found it ok untill you got the silly extra bits . I bought the RC Subaru when it came out payed hundreds for it and strugeled to get twenty quid for it when I sold it at a car boot sale. Let that be a warning . If this does continue give it a while and they might be at car boot sales hmmm . My sons getting the aircraft one I know its £6 but its every fourtnite and hes getting enjoyment from it so Im appy with that.

Re: just found this
It must have been a left over mag from the previous test which only ran to 4 issues then stopped, and simply because issue 2 is supposed to be on sale this week so issue 4 cannot possibly be on sale in the UK at this point.raven wrote:i was going through some forums last night and came across a guy saying that in issue 4 it says its being cancelled please ask for refund i will see if i can find it again
