Your right, the Sherman T-66 tracks are hard on carpet, but it never stays in the fight long enough to do any real carpet damage. And from those honey do projects, I have a supply of 1-800-drycarpet cleaner stuff to take care of beer stains, dryed mud and track scuffs; a little putty drys to almost the same color as the paint on the walls and works good enough to fill the holes from any wayward 75, 105, 90 or 88mm LED shots.
And my wife has so little interest in tank forums or tanks (though she likes Sherman Jiving Joan II, named for her), the chance of her seeing this thread is zero.
