Thank you for the explanation and photo. I think my problem is that I am unfamiliar with RX13 vintage HengLong tanks, as at first I had only Taigen tanks. I think the only early HengLong I have is the funky one with the board that can be "programmed" (so to say) to follow a route one drives.

I think (oxymoron some would say...) the slipper clutch is still a feature of HLs plastic gearboxes. I kept an eye out for any mention of HL tanks providing or improving "better sex" as mentioned in the Matilda thread, but nuthin' I could find. The hunt continues!
I mean they mention a "hole of adding"...
