Looks cool Ian. Since I know very little about the RC trucks (although some of the Tamiyas 1/14 ones I have seen in the flesh look amazing) does the extra weight of the Tiger help in driving outside?
These HuiNa trucks are awful. More expensive than WPL, but come without suspension or even proportional steering, and the speed is on or off. This has a WPL system to gain proportional speed control, and steering. They do need additional weight, to get them to run on flat ground. These photos are just posed, so I did not actually run it with the tank on. I was quite surprised at how well it did when I ran it with just the trailer empty. The original comes with quite a weighty metal cab, with additional metal weights fitted. Having a plastic cab, and the weights were not fitted, it did lift the front wheels, so no steering.

You don’t get wiser as you get older. You just run out of stupid things to do.
