It could be shyte, or it could be as good as 'Stalingrad'.

Have to wait and see?

And it shows what a whore Youtube is - they ban innocent RC German tank videos but it seems MGM money makes the rules change.

I've already seen David Byrden pick apart the tank in a trailer. It's a mock up I can deal with that if it isn't too bad or better editing out the incorrect parts.

What I won't enjoy is if the story is bad as in the trailers suggest a lone Tiger going on a secret mission to rescue one dude. That's ludicrous. There better be infantry support and a whole lotta fuel available not to mention support crews...

As a Tigerholic I'll watch it

Would be a huge waste of resources all that fuel that would be desperately needed at the front. At least in saving private Ryan they walked.

Nope. Not even the same universe.

Or just skip it altogether and scrutinize screen shots of the fake Tiger would be time better spent. Trust me.

I won't spoil the film, I'll just say that it's closer to the Russian "White Tiger" than "Fury". I wouldn't call it historical, it's more of a "magical reality".

In terms of technical details, the Tiger replica looks very good. Much better than the one in "Saving Private Ryan".

But when it comes to Soviet vehicles, they really didn't make much of an effort. We have the standard T-34/85 in 1943. And also something called the SU-100 in the movie (which also didn't exist yet in 1943), but it looks like an abomination - SU-100 with a 152mm barrel straight from World of Tanks. There should be an SU-152 here, but there isn't a single one in working order in the world.

 spot on. And not as entertaining as "T34". I had seen some reviews and had expectations. I will only share my opinion of the movie as others have viewed it as I don't want to spoil anything. and I have a very strong opinion about it and specific comparisons to other movies that would muddy the waters for new viewers.

Also agreed, and taking into consideration the difficulty of making a replica Tiger tank I appreciate what they accomplished. The Biggest Glaring issue that could have been at least mocked up or blue screened especially for the close up scenes were the tracks.
