Doing it in CAD and printing allows me to get the edges of the blates bevelled at the correct angle, and gives me a fighting chance to get the angles correct without needing any internal structure to act as formers:

The only down side is that you need a trained Octopus to assemble the thing for you :crazy:

I don't think I'd want to try this in styrene sheet unless I had a router table to cut all of the pieces for me 8O

Yeah I hear you on the beveled edges, that's the challenge when you have to bevel the styrene plates yourself at odd angles!

Yes it should be a nightmare to glue! Taping all the parts together and using extra thin CA is how I would approach it!

I didn't think of using sticky tape - I just did my normal "go piling in and see what happens.." :S
