My 1/3 scale M4A3e4 Sherman Tank

Post by DragonSherman »

Here are few videos and pictures of my M4A3e4 76mm Sherman tank. It is 95% complete. I printed this M4A3e4 turret so that my son can actually have his head out of the commander cupola to see where he is driving. The old M4A3 76mm turret was too small. May take her out with her smaller cousins (Armortek Easy 8 and Pershing tanks) for a parade in my neighborhood on the Veteran's Day

Enjoys and Happy Tanking and printing!

I remembered your posts on your (son's) 1/3 Sherman and wondered how it was going. I went back to look at the earlier posts. It is so heartwarming to see the little guy happy as can be.

Super impressed by your build!
(I was already with your previous thread).
You are the one who contacted me to know if my gun mount and mantlet files could be upscaled and printed at 1/3, I'm very pleased to see it worked well for you!

I like big tanks and yours is great. I teased my daughter that I was going to make her a tank stroller at one point for the grandkids. She just rolled her eyes at me... :)

Thanks :) Love the mantlet and the casting letters and numbers. I had to modify the gun mount in order to fit it onto the 105mm howitzer's turret since the howitzer mount shape was a bit "squared" at corners. All in all, the money is well spent. Thank you!

Hopefully when they are older, then you can let your grandchildren to ride in or on the tank :D
