Idler Wheels out of alignment? Try this!

Post by TankDriver »

I noticed that the tracks were binding around the idler wheels on my Mato Tiger I, and was shocked to see how out-of-alignment they are with the double-wheels in front of them... & look how close the one in the photo is to its single neighbor...no wonder the track's teeth were getting 'pinched'!

So I took them off & installed a couple of washers around the axle on each side to push the wheel outward a bit... still friction-free & spins like a charm

Proper alignment is restored & now it runs better than ever
