British tank markings

Post by Stormbringer »

I came across this whilst researching markings for my crusader tank
I hadnt a clue what the decals that came with it were or what they meant
Now i can make a start on my Crusader

Do be careful of the "Arms of Service" flash, those displayed are of an early issue for instance the RAC flash was later changed to Red Upper quadrant gold lower, The RASC and the RAMC were also changed,
A little research will aid you in getting an accurate picture.
Make sure you get the dates of the start and withdrawal of each sign.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
