My tanks don't get run much outside, so this may not work for you. I use E6000 (Shoe Goo) for track pads. The stuff is strong, but actually remains slightly flexible. (It dries also clear and can be sanded and painted.)

After a number of iterations. I finally managed to reproduce a 3d printed heng long turret ring gear. This gives me additional capability to create slightly better tolerance turret gear with slightly better cable management. This has been tested on a Taigen Leopard, and the Haya Chieftain. Haya Centurion will be tested too.

Any variations of the design that you might need ?
Any thoughts ? comments ?
