Introduction

Post by allabouttamks »

Hi everyone thanks for letting me join your group, my name is Steve i've been collecting tanks for many years mostly corgi & Dinky but now my interest is with 1\16 rc models.
my first was a 1\16 Tamiya king tiger with full metal options, i really enjoyed building & painting this model & it was my first time using an airbrush.
i have since got a heng long king tiger with ir & a Taigen Tiger 1 with ir ,that i intend to revamp to make more realistic, i hope to increase my collection over time & i will definitely
need advice from the group on certain projects im doing.
Thanks again everyone.

Welcome to the forum Steve. Tiger I is a favorite of mine. Feel free to share pictures of your big cats if you like. I also used to have a Corgi Tiger I and King Tiger as a child. I'm So happy with this scale as well and the modeling and RC aspect of it. You've found a good group to jump in to. Lots of good people and support here. The Tamiya Tiger I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing yet as I have a few others that keep me busy already but would like to one day.

Hello from the colonies. I agree that you should "feel free" to put up photos of your Tiggers, even the Corgi ones. (I have regular Tuesday group of modelers of all sorts at my home, and they would go nutso to see the Corgi Tiger I and King Tiger.) I hope you will join in the fun, ask and answer questions as you need and are able, and show us your continued efforts as you slide down the slippery slope into !/16 RC addiction. :haha:

I would say that you could post the photos here or in the "show off" section. (If I am wrong, our kind moderators will move them and remind me that I am as dumb as a jellyfish.)

Just put ‘em up!
We can always shift them around if required

Intro thread is fine, it will add to an already very courteous entry ;)
