That cupola is a jewel! Love the indentations that each bezel sits in. I'm not sure that a company would cast those in with such detail and finesse.

Taking it slow I've managed to get the Loader's Hatch just about done. The cover for the Loader's Periscope has a lot of details to it.

I also completed the Turret Ventilator cover done as far as I can until I mount it.

A clubmate of mine in TF72 built the super structure for his 1/72 Yamato using that sandwich layer technique then sanded it to shape!! He is a former house builder and figured it was the simplest method........the thing he found later was it weighs a ton luckily he was able to trim up on the inside to reduce the mass..

There is not too much about the Tonge M60 tanks here on rctankwarfare yet, so it would be good to see your finished model when it is completed.

Nice work so far - very impressive!
