Bunged the red-brown on after the race.
May have been a bit, um, "diverted in focus "
But, its on.
A typical tri-colour camo, but theres not much room to move on a German tank model, especially one of these things!
If it had late roadwheels I may have reached to do the "corn-chip" ambush camo, but it thankfully doesn't
Lots of weathering to come and tools etc, so the stark appearance will reduce a lot.
Tis ok..............not stella, yet.

Wow Mr. Bix, that is amazing from the discarded pieces of rubbish it started of as. You remind me of a car dealer. Herman's 2nd hand RC Tank yard. [Only one careful previous lady owner] Yeah right. regards John.

To put it into Real Estate parlance.......................I start with the worst house in the best street.................and hopefully gain an advantage. The best house in the worst street shall remain so. (bit like having a Tamiya poorly assembled and terribly painted for example )
Thanks for looking in mate.

Hello Mr. Bix, what can I say?? nothing more, using all the adjectives, concerning your achievements, you manage to breathe new life into desperate cases....where others would have given up from the start, you are a great master in the matter.

Tools are on , as are the clamps to top them off.
The finicky last bits that always seem to take ages for the least progress.
Brass sprue leftovers form the clamp bases, and actual Voyager P.E, clamp uppers make up each tool retaining clamp.
All I do is place the formed sprue in position based on each tool that needs to fit there and match paint it to suit the camo pattern as required.
Set the tool in place that has been "one I prepared earlier" & then make each upper clamp & handle to suit.
The P.E. bends easy with tweezers and is then set in place with super glue.
Once dry, match painted by hairy stick to suit.
I also lined the mortar barrel with thin brass sheet and painted it a blend of aluminum and gun metal.
I did scribe rifling into the brass but its not very noticeable after the paint
Tracks painted and fitted, yet to be pigment'd!
From where this came from and to where it is now I have to be pretty happy.
The weathering should bring it up some more hopefully.
