[Czechoslovakia] 1945 - Taigen Panther
Started a build for an early May Panther G around South Moravia. Just using this post as a placeholder as all my tank projects are completely stalled due Canada Post being on strike with about 10 packages coming from all over the place held up now for who knows how long
Re: [Czechoslovakia] 1945 - Taigen Panther
Damn Martin, those strikes really suck!
I hope you will receive your parcels soon so you can move on with your projects
Cheers, Rob.

Re: [Czechoslovakia] 1945 - Taigen Panther
Going on 2 weeks now with no resolution in sight. Canada Post are terrible at the best of times but clearing the backlog will be nuts. I suspect a lot of parcels will be "lost" or damaged when they do get back to work.
Re: [Czechoslovakia] 1945 - Taigen Panther
Especially this time of the year, with X-Mas comming up, some parcels will get lost anyway.
I had that issue a few times last year, the postal service app said it was delivered, but I hadn't received anything!
So no payback from the seller because he could read it was delivered!
Very anoying...by-by package, by-by money!
I hope it works out better for you Martin!

LOL These 2 builds will give me 5 Panther G's. I think I have a problem
I remembered reading this article when I first got into the hobby and the Panther camo scheme planner download. Finally found it. Printed off a dozen and will try a few schemes out. Much easier than just winging it while painting the various colours. Panthers pretty well have the most interesting camo schemes in my opinion. I do hope to one day build a Panther A. With all the 3D printed tank designs coming out I'm hoping to get one and having the zimmerit will help cover up a lot of the printing texture issues

Thanks for the useful links Panzermechaniker. I wonder if these belong in (or are already in) the camouflage reference section: viewforum.php?f=77

Yes that Panther Camo Scheme planner is great when you are working off a reference plate/photo of only one side.
While watching the Lions try to do what the Lions always do and blow a game in the last seconds I decided to lay the green and brown (the shades will change a lot when I use some filters and washes) down on the turret and lower hull. Looks very simplistic now but when I do the yellow tomorrow it will become clearer as to what I have planned. Also the turret will be covered with tracks and a spare wheel so a lot of work for nothing
