Ah, thank you!
Had no clue what it was, and couldn‘t find anything about it on Google.
Probably searched in the wrong direction, and as long as you don‘t know what it is, you don‘t know where to search.
Problem solved!!!

The solder stays in the way you bend it.
So for me, that makes it a bit easier to attach it onto the rifles/figures.
I used to use 1mm thick strips which I did cut out of plastic cards.
But they tend to jump out of the spot where I wanted them to be before the glue dried completely.
With the solder that is no issue.

Re: StuG III with some Tankriders.
The StuG is not ready for pictures in the outdoor yet, needs to be finished first before I can take her out with the grenadiers!
That's why I took the StuH, which is also not ready yet, but more ready than the StuG.

Oh yes Sir this is a great set of pictures.
The StuH is also handy as I have one in the list for production at some point.

Hey Rob,
Another imaginative scene beautifully executed. I too like that solder idea. Amazing what the mind can come up with when faced with the need for something. I may have missed it, but I assume that tactical markings are next to round out the vehicle?

Hey Ralph.
Actually there are always Schürzen on this StuH, so the tactical markings and balkenkreuz will be on them.
But as the camo I made onto the schürzen, is not what I had in mind, I always take them off for photoshoots.
Next year when I have made a descent place where I can use my airbrush, I will spray them in the proper camo and it will be all good.
