There are very few 1/16 rc aircraft and you need a totally wind free day to fly them, I have a Piper cub in 1/16 which is rc but it flys more like a butterfly in a sandstorm than an aircraft whereas my 1/8th DHC2 Beaver or my Focke Wulf 190 also in 1/8th are far more stable.
Helicopters used to be a very expensive nightmare learning curve but my latest Helicopters have many electronic extras that even a raw beginner can spend a fun day flying them without fearing £££s of broken bird.
I just wish the local authority would do something about stopping the trees from deliberately grabbing my aircraft out of thin air.

This is 1/3 of the aircraft fleet... everything doesn’t fit into my son’s KIA Seed, and at the festival it’s impossible to fly everything into the air, you yourself understand that the queue for the sky is very long, there are a LOT of people, the flight program is very busy...
