Re: xianghui1982628 on the ebay
For me as I can get a Sherman hull for 20 quid there’s really very little I need to design other than conversion parts or fimsy cans etc, and since most of it has already been designed I just need to reformat the print for the new printer and away we go.
I have every engine deck except the a3 I have the early Mantlet vents, sand skirts and rails. Flimsy cans rear storage shelf small hatch conversions front ammo bustle everything I need for a Sherman

He also did this to Warprints. Inkor has stated very recently that HIS designs are getting a kickback from the guy when he sells them on Ebay. He has received recent payments from him, but has no way to know if he's getting paid a percent of all the guy's sales. My guess would be probably not. Inkor is in a different kind of situation though. He is living in a war zone so he is trying to make a living during special circumstances. Problem is this guy takes and uses the design before getting permission to do so. Then when he gets caught he asks permission. I personally would never buy something from these Ebay guys, but I understand why people do. Some of them don't realize that the designs are stolen. I recently reported a different guy doing the same thing with Gambody designs. The Gambody people told me they are passing it on to their legal team. I don't like it when designers get screwed because then they stop designing. The Gambody rip offs were clearly Gambody pics with the watermarks removed. I am perfectly happy to give people money to compensate them for their time. I wouldn't expect people to use my IT skills and not compensate me for my time.

Where is this guy getting the files. I wouldn’t mind some of those files myself. Not for commercial printing though. Just because I want what it is in the collection

He gets them from multiple sources. Depends on whether he's paying the designer to duplicate the design with permission or duplicating the design without their permission. Cults3D is one of the sites he gets them from.Exhibitedbrute wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2024 6:57 am Where is this guy getting the files. I wouldn’t mind some of those files myself. I understand, but some of the models he tries to sell, I have never seen as a set of files available on Cults for example. So where did he gets them, no problem to pay for them of coursetankme wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2024 9:25 amHe gets them from multiple sources. Some of those files I haven’t seen anywhere and others I know who designed them. Most of the ones that are of interest to me are the ones I haven’t seen on places like cults. But I would rather buy from the source than buy a ripped off model

Re: xianghui1982628 on the ebay
The T80U he is printing is Thingiverse. I think you can assume that if there is a full tank on any site, he will use it. Some of the models are resized from smaller tanks which may distort the details depending on how small the tank was when it was resized. I prefer to resize large STLs if I'm going to resize something. He is really only one of a bunch of people ripping off STLs from people on eBay. Since he has quite a few models in his eBay store, it's kinda hard to determine which site a particular model comes from unless I know what tank it is.

Let’s use the wesp or one of many half tracks as an example. I know that some of his trucks are from cults as I have some of them just not printed yet

But then if he is just resizing. What’s to stop me from finding a really good sexton let’s say, splitting it all down and re sizing and printing it to what I want? Either way the file is being paid for. But at the same time if I’m paying for a file I want it how I want it already. By that I mean in the correct scale
