This is the most amazing build I have seen so far, love the lighting options!!
Seriously inspired. I'm on a similar build myself....and I may need some advice down the line!
Anyway, totally staggered by your ingeniousness, well done Sir!

If you are not far in your build, I recommend you to wait some weeks, because a new 1:16 beetle is going to be released for around 40 euros, it already comes with lights and... with full suspension! I will get one as soon as I can and Ill try to do the same electronics setup on it.

Thanks Rad......thanks for letting me know about that! Do you know who makes this new kit?
My Revell VW kit landed today....its unstarted as we speak, was just about to start on the body work!

I think i will get this and maybe swap out the body shell!

Yes, that is the one.

If I were you, I wouldd wait with the revel kit until you get the RC one, and if you replace the electronics, you can always also upgrade the interior detail of the RC model with the revel kit.

I built a revell kit years ago and it was extremely fragile. It is not something I would ever use in RC.
