Have you thought of a M4 or M5 high speed tractor based on the hull
I had been discussing that very idea, going to be doing some chassis tests this weekend if the chassis will run without the mudguards as we suspect that they keep the tracks in place. time will tell
M5 tracks were spec'd to be run fairly tight which is why I and many others have removed a link from each side. They are just way too loose from the factory.

According to the manual from Coolbank, one of the switches on the remote is for a winch (in and out). Has anybody figured out what port that is on the receiver/board? I have a cunning plan with a small motor with lots of reduction and a crew member...

As you can see, progress has been glacial...

There is a lot more detail to go into the interior, but I wanted to have something to show this weekend.

(Yes, I know the gunsight is over sized - its set up for a 5mm IR emitter)

Do you know if it is possible to connect a Heng Long 7.1 board to make the turret rotate (which is done by a servo in Stuart)?

I think the heng long 7.1 board only has capabilities for servo barrel recoil and servo barrel elevation Kaczor, I don't think that it has a servo port available for turret rotation  you could always try swapping out the servo from the stuart and fitting a rotation unit if there's room inside for one ??? you could just plug that into the heng long 7.1 rotation port then

Cheers, Lee.

A few more little gems to design up and then print for the Stuart, but quite happy with the accessories and extras
