Radiomaster TX16S ... Help!?

Post by jfulls94 »

Hi guys im trying my best to get my Radiomaster TX16S to work with my Taigen V3 board so far i have followed all the instructions to the letter, my Flysky reciever has bound to my TX16S, but i cant seem to bind my controls in the menu... its most likely user error, im very new to the TX16S

Running the latest version of EdgeTX

When i go into imputs i dont see an option to bind an axis to channel 1 for example.

Bit of a long shot but maybe someone in here is also running this radio and can help!

8O I think our friend can't program his transmitter properly? personally at first and if you have correctly carried out the Binding (pairing) between TX and RX, I would do a test, by connecting servo motors, on the first 4 channels of the RX, activating the 2 handles (vertical and Horizontal) if your servos react, the problem is elsewhere, you need to look in the radio menu,

look in the "electronics" post of this forum, Radio equipment line, will you find it there? could be a solution, on the other hand even if I am not a big pro of this type of equipment? I notice in this post that many people use the Open TX Firmware. On the other hand, my test solution with a servo, which you connect alternately to the TX outputs 1/2/3/4 corresponding to the handles, will confirm visually if works

Servos can be had cheap and are very useful at times. I wonder if anyone near you might have one they'd be willing to lend.

So on further investigation I've got 4 mini servos to plug into my FS reciever and hey presto all functionality is there so the problem lies with the Taigen V3 board it would seem!

 Great, so already a first doubt is lifted
So let's return to the board? There are no functions, nothing works when activating the sticks? Already connect the 4 channels functioning as with the servos, you will find attached a diagram of the connection direction and what corresponds on the tank...

Also pay attention to this wire, black or red? It depends, it must be connected to the minus of the general interchange

it is also necessary to check, in relation to the tests with the servos, which stick does what? don't forget that these are radios for planes, or helicopters, let me explain, depending on the type of receiver, the outputs are not necessarily identical? channel 1 will not necessarily operate the same function as another RX on an aircraft? ( example )
