It is also necessary to install windshield wipers on the turret...
A yellow light for driving around the city equates the tank to a garbage collection vehicle.

There are lots of pictures of mbts with beacon lights fitted, some even when deployed, see below. A rubbish truck it does not make.

How did you make the wipers? And are the bits for the gunners sights printed?

I've never seen a yellow beacon light on a tank in the US, but the US does run them sometimes on tanks in Europe. Must be a requirement of like Germany or something since you see a lot of Leopards with them.

Our challys have them when moving around in the UK, seen pictures of them like this on the road and ranges.

I know deployed tanks don't usually have them but see above it does happen! It maybe a bit of artistic licence but so is the paint job. I think they're a nice piece of extra interest when driving around if nothing else.

Yellow light for driving around the city.
This is a safety requirement in Europe.
They are simply not removed at the training ground and during exercises.
It would be stupid to put camouflage on a tank and, like an idiot, mark it with a glowing beacon!
He just screams
- I’m here, aim right here, I’m unprotected here!!!!

I made windshield wipers from strips of polystyrene.
I didn’t bother my son so that he could print these details for me...

Another little thing I wanted to try was to get the rws and the gunner panoramic sights working.

I ordered a couple of N20 motors with shafts at 90 degrees and added the little 1a reversable esc that I used on my abrams.

Here's a quick demo and another of the tank in action
