I have reservations about those printed tracks. How do they hold out on different surfaces.

The tracks printed of PETG are just as strong as the Tamiya tracks.
I was also skeptical at first, but I did a strength and tensile test and attached 10 kg.
That was no problem at all.
You have to pay attention to the alignment when printing because of the "fiber flow" and choose a slightly higher temperature.

Good thing about 3D printed tracks...if they fail, you can always print more and can try them in a different material. My Tortoise tracks were just printed in Sunlu ABS like resin so I'll see how strong those are.

Let me know about those resin track because I plan printing the commet ones in anycubic abs like resin and I would assume that the Matilda my dads printing for my birthday that I’m not supposed to know about will have them aswell

The Sunlu ABS Like isn't as non-brittle as I'd like. I does flex some before breaking, but small ridges tend to be brittle. I've got both Tortoise tracks printed and pinned so it's just a matter of finishing the suspension on that thing before I can do some testing on it. For future tracks, I may mix some Siraya Tenacious into the ABS like. I think I printed my Comet tracks in PETG as it was pre-resin printer. They were a royal PITA to clean up the supports. I'm still very new to resin printing so I've been experimenting with different things.

Nice! I think I'll be doing mine in resin, as I have neither the skills nor the patience to solder something that intricate
