Re: [WINTER] Porsche Turret King Tiger w\Commander
Good Morning,
Ongoing health issues have slowed me down to a crawl again. My face looks like someone has been putting out cigarettes on it but the Big C has been beaten back so the Doc says. I may not finish now by the deadline but the Build will be finished by Summer. Thanks all for your patience.
regards,
Painless

That is terrific news! Build when the mood strikes otherwise it's no fun. And you definitely deserve some fun!

As CC said, “Great news”. I’m sure most of us won’t care if you do not finish by the deadline. Your health is far more important.

I too agree. It gets finished when it gets finished. This is our enjoyable hobby (most of the time). Sometimes life gets in the way. Your health is more important to us then a deadline.

I wish you fast healing: the KT can wait as long as needed, and I will still be happy to see it. If you don't mind, keep us informed about the healing and we can send you sick jokes (Son of a-gunner's a pro at that) to keep you entertained.

Just like others have said. This is supposed to be a fun hobby/pastime/get out of your head thing. I hope you feel better soon. Life has a funny way of getting in the way, but soon enough you'll be back at it doing some impressive work going out of your head

Good Morning,
I have been working on the Research KT slowly since the last Post. My face healed up and a round of Tests by my Primary Physician said I was good to go. So back at it. After a lot of thought while I built the Model, I decided to go with primary dunkelgelb and detail the tank out as one that has just completed a long road march to arrive at the fight in Normandy ( really happened as the railroads were under constant air attack and the Panzers traveled by night mostly). Now the 1/35 scale version is finished (on the 6th), I'll get busy on the HL RC version. Build photos of the research KT will be put in to the Build thread as it progresses. For now, here are Pics of the finished model...

Terrific work on the 35th, I eagerly look forward to it's bigger brother.

Good Afternoon,
Thanks for having a Look-See! First time that the Research Tank has been a more complicated build than the 1/16: scale one will be. Lesson learned. I'll save stuff like that for just having fun with no time limits imposed.
