If the AFV kit does not fit the Tamiya kit, what does it fit? Does AFV indicate an intended use?
The box does not indicate which 1/35 Centurion one can use so I figure it was a universal kit that would at least work with Tamiya which is the standard in 1/35 scale models.
The road wheels have a gap that is too narrow for stocks tamiya tracks and the axles are half the diameter of the Tamiya model which makes me think this is a "diorama" or static kit as the plastic is very thin and everything is flimsy. These parts would not hold up long under RRC use and not only that, the road wheels are slightly offset to the outside so that the tracks would be in a non stock location away from the hull of the tank. This offset comes from the road wheel axles, the axle mounts are offset away from the Tank so that the included road wheels can be used but the gap where the track guides run are too narrow and would cause binding of the track guides.
I wasted several hours trying to make it work but there is no way because of the offset axles. Otherwise you could use the stock road wheels. Poorly designed kit IMO.
I complained to the ebay vender and started a return process. I waited a bit to see if the vender would reply to my complaint but saw nothing so mailed back. It cost me $5.40 to return it (postage) and the cost was $25.55 so waste of time and money for a kit that does not fit oh, and the casings that hold the suspension parts also offset father out from the Tank hull than stock and have no mounting bosses so each has to be mounted individually which respect to each mount. So the kit should say "for advanced hobbyists". Novice at kit bashing would have no chance with this kit.
The instructions are minimal at best.

I just don't have the ambition to do one from scratch so I will try a Kit from AFV and see how that goes.
It should probably say that in the ad
