Hello from Paso Robles, ca
Hello to all. Thanks for the add. I've been in RC most of my life. Airplanes, Helicopters, Slash, Boats. I've done it all. Just picked up a used Heng Long Pershing 1/16 scale. I have 4 grandsons to keep happy. I was born in the San Francisco bay area. Moved to Modesto in 1989, then Paso Robles in 2014.

Surely you mean four, four grandchildren and himself makes five, one tank purchased, therefore, four more to buyColemanCollector wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2024 11:07 pm Welcome from Ontario, Canada!

I had Para 45 double stack, felt like holding a 2 by 4. Give my one of J. Browning's beauties in a single stack any time! Welcome to the forum.

Yep .45ACP is a fat-assed round alright !!
The Thompson I had with the drum mag was not, erm, user-friendly-carry-wise but it sure was cool to empty out *(just to make lighter of course ) despite that being a financial investment in itself as I was not a home-loader
Welcome along from the Gold Coast of Australia out of New Zealand.
As the others have already eluded to, you think ONE (1) ( UNO) (EINS) tank is going to be IT .................. ahhh nope Sir, no it will not.

Hello, Para1911A1. As others have noted, you have lots of good experience already--just a shortage of three tanks for your other grandsons and a dozen or more for yourself. After all, you'll soon need to keep up with "kids these days" as the little guys start to do all kinds of sophisticated stuff with electronics.
Re: Hello from Paso Robles, ca
Welcome. Was out shooting my XD-45 this past weekend with my father. Then I gave it to him as I typically don't shoot .45 and he likes the round. He gave me his Model 15 Smith and Wesson .38 SPL Combat Masterpiece that he bought in the 1970s for $150 at an auto parts store. I'm not a revolver guy, but my Dad wanted me to have it and he's not getting any younger. I think we put 50 rounds through that revolver so like a 1/4 of it's entire round count since the 1970s. It was a smooth shooter though.
