I would think running thru water like that would ruin the electronics/wiring.

Maybe I've been too gentle. I've run my squadron on my lawn only.

I was also surprised that the tank could withstand so much. At the beginning I didn't dare to drive through mud etc. You have to approach it slowly.

Back in the day when building Tamiya buggies they used to supply black Tammy logo balloons to put your MFU and Servos in with zip ties to cinch em up and keep em safe for muddy and wet running.

It was these kinds of videos that convinced me to buy my first rc tank. I have put my electrics inside a plastic take away container and used bathroom sealant on the underside to plug any holes.

Hopefully that link works. I need to get back into the hobby. I have what is now a very heavy used kv1. Chassis that I never sealed the hole at the bottom were the switch was supplied to go. But now I've left children drive that one so much that frame seems to have warped in some way.

OskarZeGerman: thanks for starting this thread with your video. Obviously, there are no few on RCTW who play in the puddles. It's fun to watch you all muck about. I suppose you are the "High Mucky-De-Mucks."

stu_the_flat: Good to see you back here on RCTW after a bit of a hiatus. Yes, indeedy doody, you do "need to get back into the hobby." Did you take those videos on the all-wet day before my sweetheart and I came to Glasgow? :P
