So I uh, pretty much filled in a hole on my KV-2 with sprue, and uh, cut it off and filled the divot, uh with some putty yesterday...sniff...

Dang! What a righteous build with loads of detail and puts the Tamiya term "Full Option", to shame. Superlative scratchbuilding, although that term seems a bit insulting for this creation since I don't ever associate scratching with anything cool!

Thanks Mike. I have a 3D printer but still haven't worked out the bugs to get consistent prints. On the other hand I've been in no rush to figure it out because I truly like scratch building. I agree it seems like a derogatory term, but it is an old school method that I embrace.

I built three lead boxes. A big two layer one for the M32 and two smaller ones for that the towed M4A3. Little epoxy on the bottom and then capped with some bondo for lead free handling.





Not to be scale or that accurate but I threw a generator together from left overs Can you spot the HL parts from two tanks that contributed to the gen?

"HengLong parts..." Perhaps I see a spotlight's bezel casing and two uses of some kind of arched part, squared off at one end, perhaps an ammunition box, but too small.

To the left of the big wheel, a Tiger 1 headlight, and below it and the black electrical box are M4A3 exhaust pipe pieces.

I've been told that I have some Forces of Valor (FOV) interior pieces inbound from Hawaii.

Just received a package from a small island in the very big Pacific ocean. Looks like I may be reworking the Sherman again.

I didn't realize his Tiger was still on the mainland. That was a fantastic build to watch.

Got to admit (as a Ford fan) the GAAs are pretty impressive.

No kidding, those engines are beauts. Yes, if it wasn't for Mike's advice and parts deliveries here and there, a number of my completed and ongoing builds would not be ... Example, Maxene, my first complex detail build for the forum, done with Mike Help and Alpha's advice would not have been the Eye Candy that she is. Mike is responsible for the dished late war road wheels, the opening engine grills and guards, the Tamiya M2 and the Engine exhaust smoke deflector. Just to name few parts. He is a Pal and a walking compendium of Tank Engineering.
