Re: Prepping a 3d print for painting
I have a vague memory of someone recommending bumper paint, because it was thicker than normal, and could contribute to filling in print lines, I'll try and find it

Re: Prepping a 3d print for painting
Filler Primer and Plastic Primer are my usual goto's, but they take a fair amount of wet sanding to work out the ridges

I want all the lines removed also, as they are not there on the real tank. I can accept a few small ones in little spots, but massive print lines on the side of the tank are a definite "no go at this station."

As promised, this is the way wIbblywobbly does it.
Although I think I'd still give it a bit of a sanding.
