hi sax.
all you do is use your oil-wash that went over the whole tank and go around the bolt details, let it dry wipe off the excess then dry-brush.

Here are some more pictures of my TIGER-1 S13,I have installed the tow cables, aircleaners, jacking block, shovel, amd other tools, also have painted wheels and sprockets although the sprockets did not detail to my satifaction.I may attempt to repaint the sprocket. Also note the stock black cables have been detailes with pastels,to show rust, and corrosion on the shackle ends, also used pastels to detail cleaning rods.Still have brackets for air cleaner intakes and air intake scoops to detail. Also added full links to tracks may have to remove one link. Here are some pics.Sax

Afew more pictures taken outside, the camera just does not reflect the right color,to me the tank seems more grey-blue.But it is grey, very grey to me,so you be the judge, and the Blue behind is my other bike.Saxondog

I have posted alot of pictures of my TIGER-S13,and the paintwork is nearly complete. But what good is a tank if you can't drive it? Not much fun,so tonight I spent time wiring my gun system. My gun was purchased from Creeping Death as their LASER SIGHTING TIGER GUN SYSTEM.Well three guns later and hopefully it will work as designed, let me say that Shelby@C/D has been very supportive, and since we  had to modify the gun I went a step further,in the pictures you may notice my gun seems a little long,18mm longer than a stock Tamiya barrel. This was required to allow recoil, and with paintball ammo in mind.It started out as a Tamiya barrel, with a little boring work I mated it to the C/D barrel which is mounted to a VS ABRAMS GUN.Now some time soon I will find out if all this work is worth it.You may also notice that their are two groups of wires, this is because the recoil requires a direct power feed from the battery, the lights are connected to the gun safety switch so they can be shut down to save power, the other harness is conventional E,EG/G group plus the laser sighting is will connect inside the hull the the MG wires. If I push the MG button the hull mg fires as well as the Mantel mounted laser sight.Other wise it's straight forward H/L wired into the 8-pin connector.here's what happens in battle,Trigger the MG to sight target, when red dot appears on other target, left up joystick and tank recoil, gun recoil, firing sound and gun shooting all happens at the same time.next step will be to install rccommands new battle system,And I can have I/R  WITH THE EMMITTER mounted in the mantel, tower in the command hatch, but no flash.SAX

Sax, How much more have you to do on the Tiger. I love the Kwacker Mean streak. Has that low rider/cruiser got a 1500cc engine ? Nice Blue.

Sure does, fuel injected 1500cc radial tuned suspension all the good things. It's also the right bike for me in my old age.And yes I'm close to finishing, today I have been working on the componet tray, mounting the receiver,RX-18,smoker unit which has been modified w/fan and trying to keep the wiring nice and neat, but no you can't work on your tank.See the white Toyota Supra behind my bike, just spent 3000.00 on this car including a new motor.Well today the wife,it's her car, gets in and it won't start, starter motor is bad.Another 140.00us Plus you have to have tiny hands to get it off,two bolts and my nephew has been at it for two hours and still can't get the bolt out.Taking a break for a minute, should have the tank running tonight, and the bike is 6-years old and thankfully has been a great bike,Hope to see your tank soon,Sax  update, below I have posted pictures of the asiatam componets tray, receiver and smoker are a straight bolt on,the CPU end was not designed for the RX-18,so I remove the mounting post and attached post to the bottom of the RX-18 tray,I have purchase an RX-18 FAN COOLED FROM Bill@rccommand,because of my motor choice I have also added a fan to the bottom tray also,at the other end I have installed a smoker with the fan mod that can be found in Tips and Tricks on this forum.Next step is to tie every thing together,I will use the 8-pin harness and eliminate any other connection between the componets and the devises, one wire harness direct to the RX-18.I also intend to use two batteries.Sax
