Hello I am not sure if this question has been asked or if it has been covered but what I am trying to do is convert a 1:10 3d print stug iii ausf a down to 1:16 3d print stug iii, I brought the file to use bits and pieces off of it to use on a 1:16 stug iii which I'm converting to an ausf d model.
The 3d printer I am using is mars pro 2, what percentage do I have to put the measurements down to, to get all of it to 1:16 scale?
Also been doing hinges for the stug iii ausf d with this printer but after resin has cured I keep breaking the hinges, any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Sam

Re: 1:10 to 1:16
Hi,
to convert from 1/10 to 1/16 scale, you need to apply a scale factor of 62.5% in your slicer. This is the result of dividing the original scale by the desired scale.
You can use that formula to switch between any two scales: (original scale / desired scale) * 100

Don't forget when you scale down something you are also scaling down the size of holes used for screws and pins
Re: 1:10 to 1:16
What resin are you using, and how long are you washing/curing it for?
Re: 1:10 to 1:16
Thank you everyone for your help, so far the parts that I am starting to print seem to be the right scale now. Thank you
The resin I am using is esun- eresin-pla bio photopolymer resin. I don't have a wash for, I just use water then let air dry
