Beautiful tank modeling and photography but please tell how that ruined building was made.

Thanks for the compliments. It was a gorgeous early morning at the club field so I figured I'd set those shots up. I found it interesting how the light created that washed out look on the sides in some of the shots you see in black and white WW2 photos of German tanks. Makes you wonder as the one known colour photo of the Sturmtiger shows the colours as being quite vivid. The ruined buildings are built by one of our club members. He makes molds and uses quick drying cement with chicken wire. All the non wood structures you see in any photos from me were built by him. They make fantastic sniping positions. But my favourites are his ruined farmhouse structures and the old ruined castles

Thanks for the quick reply. I’m trying to get ideas for a 1/16 diorama for my Tiger. I had better stick with foam construction though.

Cool scene. I'm a sucker for a good Sturmtiger even though I'm not a fan of the regular Tiger I.

Wow! That's two fatso Sturmtiger cooling off in the evening desert heat, complete with mortar shells being unwrapped and loaded. Superb!

I remember the first time I saw a YT vid of the Torro Sturmtiger I thought why would anyone want that. I decided to get the upper hull to put on my Taigen late Tiger from Forgebear because I was looking for something to do and I had too many Tigers :D . It's my favourite tank for driving on the field. Realistic speed, heavy and so much torque it can drive anywhere and no chance of barrel stab. Herr Dr. Professor I've always said that about our field although we have most of the original buildings depicting a Northern France, Belgium, west of the Rhine Germany during most of the summer it really looks like the Italian front and after the winter destroys everything it looks like on a sunny early spring day the Golan Heights

Great models! Wonderful photos!!!! I think if they are made in black and white, they will look very much like front-line chronicles)
I also have a Sturmtiger in my collection. With your permission, I will present my video:
