Hi Guys
Thought i would share with you my salvenmaschinnen kanone
Took a fair bit of work to get this built, but it does look menacing

8x 2cm barrels, they are all hollow brass barrels, i want to add fibre optics in for strobing effect and get a sound card setup
Somepoint i will motorise one aswell

That would be true if they ever managed to get the rate of fire as was originally wanted

from what i have read they struggled with rate of fire as the gun unit made such big vibrations it made people ill when in operation and the significant vibrations caused damage to the structures and operation.

They tried various phasing of firing and reducing rate of fire when eventually it was decided that a larger shell with fewer barrels would have a higher rate of fire and damage to 8 barrels firing on this monster.
It was a prototype that made it to testing, but never was taken further. 1 such unit still exists somewhere in a museum in Russia i believe
