Hey there! Since my first steps in the hobby I am facing the pictures problem. I was not able to take decent pics of anything but it seems I managed to improve quite a lot.
Still, are far from perfect, but much better than what I posted in the past.
You can take a look at many more figures here: https://radindustries.wordpress.com/202 ... -pictures/ And if you click on each picture in my website it will open my entry with more pics of it.
I am updating most of my old entries with new pics and I believe it is well worth it.
Hallelujah! New decent pics!

Yay! The quality of your photos is catching up to the quality of your modeling. Very nice.

Thank you! The figures are still looking better than the pics, but at least is a vast improvement over the old pics

The black background is surprisingly effective, Rad, not what I would have expected. How did you do it?

I could tell you I have a super photo studio wih an expensive setup, but it would be a lie.Herr Dr. Professor wrote: ↑Thu Apr 27, 2023 12:27 am The black background is surprisingly effective, Rad, not what I would have expected. How did you do it?
The black background is nothing more than a black scarf that belongs to my wife, and the illumination is the same cheap IKEA cold white light I use for painting and soldering.
And that's it!

Nifty! For monthly magazine articles, I use a white sheet, some clunky, cheap, LED lights, and a 15 year old eCLR camera. If I can scrounge up some black cloth, I will experiment with it.
