It's Big, it's Bad, and it's Fugly!

Post by dgsselkirk »

Russian Object 704 finished up now! In case you missed the earlier story, This is an old Zukenburg resin kit from back in the day. It came up on Ebay about 4 or 5 years ago and I was bidding on it but lost out. My buddy Chris from our club was the winner! LOL! Fast forward a couple of years and I ended up buying back from Chris and did a little repaint, added some details, Stuck a Clark board in it and here we go! As I said in the video I could not for the life of me get the barrel to loosen up even though I tried heat, Unglue, etc... it just wouldn't budge so no recoil or elevation... 🙁 The other thing that drove me crazy was I kept blowing bulbs(3) for the light. No idea why. They would work and then poof! Fizzle out so hopefully the new owner can figure it out... but Fugly looks the part even so! 🙂
Here is a little video of it finished:

As always this one is up for sale on ebay and FB. If you want to see lots more tank videos please subscribe! and you can check out my little store and other custom tanks I have done at my website: https://dgsselkirk.wixsite.com/dgsmilitaryhobby

Absolutely awesome! I remember playing against one of these F'in things on World of Tanks.

Nice paint work, did you do the mantlet and armor casting texture?

Good Stuff.

No, it was textured when I got it. I think the resin kit is this way... Thanks!

I like it too, but I've also played one in World of Tanks.

Sold for $450.00 and on it's way to Florida. Not as expensive as some of mine as it had no recoil, elevation and I couldn't get the side light to work! LOL!
