Upgraded board in a Tamiya King Tiger

Post by Paulg01 »

Hi guys I have just purchased a IBU2 board to upgrade the existing king tiger module
But unfortunately the board connectors won’t fit into existing cables from the Tamiya I have purchased a modification wiring kit but can anyone advise on what is needed to wire it up correctly and is it easily done ie with connectors or soldering of wire.
Thank you

Be a courteous idea to go into the introduction section & tell us a bit about yourself, your interest in this hobby we have & a rough idea on where you are on the planet.......................bit like moving in next door & ripping over to borrow the lawn mower on the first day eh !!.................probably the same result :problem:

I have done this to my Tamiya King Tiger, I can post up some pics over the weekend.

I used a IBU2 and plugged all the tamiya connections into it, had to persuade one or two to fit nicely. I got all the features working apart from the muzzle flash, couldn't figure out how to do it.
