Taigen / Heller Sturmhaubitze 42 Ausf G
My new project - StuH 42 based on taigen chassis and Heller (Trumpeter) upper hull. Atak Model Zimmerit (Alkett no 2) is used. Work in progress.

Fantastic work so far. Your zimmerit looks great !
You see, the top hull with fenders attached to it is strong enough !

Not much progress - Notek light was installed. I broke Mato light during dismantling so I use 2mm tube and kit parts.

PE stowage rack included in Heller kit is way too thin and delicate to be used on RC model. Using it as a template a made new from brass strips and small bolts. Below some testing of stowage layot using Das Werk resin kit.

Hi Kaczor
I'm pretty certain this will last for ages.
I like tuning like this, especially if it has a practical purpose and isn't just "for effect".

Love the stowage arrangement Kaczor, those late StuG/Hs don't look right unless they're loaded up to the brim like a family station wagon.
If you kids don't knock it off back there I'm turning this panzer around and we're going straight back home to Berlin!
