New setting .

Post by Biasphere1 »

I've found a setting on my printer that really helps screw holes and receivers for parts . I use CURA and I'm at 5.1 revision .
In the Infill section there is a setting named Infill Layer Thickness , I tried opening it up by 1MM and that was way too much but at .2 MM things were much better . Where parts received round shafts, screws and hex rod for drives everything fit quite snug without having to work the receiver with tools for fitment . I might go to 2.2 and I'd say that will be perfect .
I use PLA and working this material can be a pain ,I've started using drills going up steadily in the smallest gradients . Now though with this setting I may not have to do that anymore.
Cheers HTH .
