Jagtiger in need of a reboot
Re: Jagtiger in need of a reboot
Hi Guys,
Thanks for all your comments and for taking the time to post them.
As "Tiger" says, I'm more interested in how to implement TK 7.0, if that is possible.
I already started, but I'm getting nowhere, to be honest. I'll get some pics of what I have done, pretty temporary, just to see if it worked. Don't laugh too much, I've spent around £130 on this baby to date.

Re: Jagtiger in need of a reboot
Hello, personally, following the diagram attached by John 70,
first I would do the test, just by wiring the two propulsion motors, the On / Off switch, the battery, do not forget to "Binder the radio, with the plate" and see what that is happening ? already make this work
PS: to avoid any worries, put the tank on a wedge, so that the tracks turn in a vacuum, otherwise risk of falling when starting

Re: Jagtiger in need of a reboot
Hi Jofaur,
I've already got a Taigen Tiger 1, so I'm a bit familiar with tanks, not a newbe as such.
As wired, it doesn't work, no lights, no start-up on the transmitter, nada. I've wired the input leads to the on/off switch and the motor leads to M1 and M2. The CB has a 2 pin "Power" connector, according to the TK 7.0 wiring diagram I found on the net. I don't know where to wire this to? When I connect the battery and power on, there is 8v at the "Power" connector, but nothing on the other pins. How do I bind to the transmitter?

Re: Jagtiger in need of a reboot
here are two photos of the original Heng Long wiring, hoping to help?
Original HL couleurs des fils en correspondances avec la platine du châssis supérieur

you notice that the elevation and air sfot motor have a common wire, which is no longer the case with the TK 7.O

Thanks Jofaur,
It will take me a while to digest this.

Re: Jagtiger in need of a reboot
be careful, unlike the existing board, the battery connects directly to Input, and the M/A button to Power, I think you shouldn't use the original switch? or rewire it in two wires? as in the diagram, I do not doubt your knowledge? just try to explain!!!Hwal2605 wrote:Hi Jofaur,

Re: Jagtiger in need of a reboot
Stop before you set fire to the tank
disconnect everything you have attached. The tank needs a complete rewire the tk7 does not use the same connections as the taigen the 8 pin wire isn't used and it definitely doesn't plug into the led sockets connecting plus and minus terminals together.

Re: Jagtiger in need of a reboot
at no time did I say that the 8-pin plug had to be reconnected? just provides diagrams in order to find if in the principle of the wiring? that's all !!john1970 wrote:Stop before you set fire to the tank
