Expereinces with TK-CS16?

Post by whitecitadel »

I want Servo recoil to replace my BB turret I have decided.

I could go TK7.1 to replace my TK7.0 (that in my Tiger came with a nice leopard Diesel sound...) but after some digging the 7.0 and 7.1 transcievers are different, and if you want to use the extra channel to work you need the 7.1 TX with the working slider. At this point its the best part of £100 for 7.1 board and TX shipped to "Brexit Island" which seems a lot for not a lot.

So I am looking at boards, Beier and Elmod are a bit pricey for me as a beginer. The Clark seems to have quality issues, and the OpenPanzer unobtainable it seems. I saw on another forum Rad is testing a new board based on OpenPanzer but its new product and likely €200 or more.

So I started to look at other boards that support generic TX/RX as that gives the most options. The Taigen V3 is one option (keep coming back to should have bought a Taigen not HL!), but after much research I came accross the TK-CS16 board, and the thread on connections: viewtopic.php?f=81&t=32082

I don't need stabilised barrell in a Tiger (youtube makes it look cool in a modern tank!), but the rest seems a good mix of every connection you could need without the cost and advanced sound functions of Beier/Elmod etc level board.

Can't seem to find a lot of information on English forums, is anyone using these boards, if so how do you like them?

if your radio is programable and with several channels? it is also possible to control one or more servos on an additional channel, see the different explanations of Rad on this subject

The only place i can find the cs-tk-16 that will ship to the uk is https://good-goods-online.com/product/g ... d-cs-tk16/

I think it might be what Haya rc use in their £1000 Chieftain https://www.hayaltd.co.uk/Chieftain_116 ... 57989.aspx as it seems to use the same remote as what G.goods advertise with the board might be worth asking them if it is and if they plan on selling it in the future.

Hi john1970 - I can order one on problem, I am just wondering if anyone is using them and has any experience, as ordering from China if it breaks your out of pocket (this is the approach I take anyway).

I suspect that Haya are using that board looking at the video, compared to others that I have seen on YouTube.

I use one in my can shuo leopard, I like it a lot. They are fragile though, no circuit protection just like heng long, be very careful hooking it up. I’ve killed two, one fried when I installed the turret sensor switch following incorrect instructions. I fried another when the unsecured and uninsulated power switch flopped on to something conductive and shorted. There’s a good thread on the tk16 in this forum. Look in Electronics - Other.
