April TOTM winner

Post by Son of a gun-ner »

Congratulations to lmcq11 for wining the April TOTM

And let's also give a big hand to our two runners up

Three superb RC models, which could have made the voting go in any direction, at one point after a few days, all three had the same number of votes.

And a big thank you to all those who voted, including those I coerced with lame Mother-In-Law jokes

"Lame Mother-In-Law"? Are you kicking your In Laws again, Doc? Congratulations Louis! Always a treat for the eyes to see your latest Builds. The competition is getting ferocious indeed with the examples of Modeling Wizardry that we see on display here in TOTM.
...Here for the Dawn...

Thank you everyone !
Its a real honour to be able to show my tanks next to these amazing models. The Leopard 1 and the T-35 were simply perfect. I am inspired every time and its very tempting to do something similar. This is what its all about. Thank you again,

Louis

All 3 very unique and rare in this scale, let alone Rc as well !
Well done to Me Mcq11 on his win and glorious Chaffee & crew.

Was a tough vote which is obvious by the tight margin and Mother In Law jokes to push us all along :/

I could rave on and on about what impressed me about the Leopard I, the Chaffee, and the T-35. It was a nail-biting, slobber and drool TOTM. And the punchline "It needs ironing" has been a winner again and again, too. Such great work, gentlemen. You have my sincere R-E-S-P-E-C-T for your scholarship and skills.

Congrats Louis, another well turned out entry for a hard fought and deserved win  the standard of all three was extremely high this month with early votes reflecting this and all three taking the lead on occasions, well done to all

Wow! Another great TOTM contest!

Congrats Louis on another amazing build! All 3 tanks were gorgeous and so well done! I could have just closed my eyes and clicked on any one of the three, as all of them were that well done! Cheers to all three builders and their skillful renditions!

Also Mick,
Thanks for the Mother in Law jokes (and all those who contributed)! That is the one nagging issue that has been consistent in my life for the last 33 years!

Cheers,
Eric.

Good morning all. I told the joke with the "It needs ironing" punchline to my sweetheart, sure that she, too, being, like me, "of a certain age," would be after me with a knife. She laughed! I am still alive today.
