Hi,
it is made of a similar material to an FFP2 mask.
It is glued together over a frame which is slightly larger than the window frame.

I see that the term "FFP2 mask" is a bit more commonly used in Europe than here in the US. Once I looked it up, DOH! Thank you, too, for the idea to make an extra frame.
