Hello from, California

Post by JeepsGunsTanks »

Barry over at Large Scale Planes recommended the site, I sure that means he is here too. Hey Jerry!

Anyway, built my first RC Tank back in 05, a Tamiya Pershing. Then I got a very broken used Taegen M4A3 76W and decided to fix it, and that led to fixing the very broken M26 I built-in 05. I was posting about it on LSP, and now I'm here.

The line-up. There is a Mato M4A1 76 mixed in too, also broken, dead turret.

I'll post threads about fixing them at some point.

Welcome! I'm freezing here in southern Wisconsin, but having lived in LA in the early '80s, I will take the fresh air. (Then, too, I was born and raised in Wisconsin, so there is a bit of prejudice.) Your Pershing looks pretty good! I see the Taigen Sherman, but it seems another has showed up, too. Hmm... Somewhere I read that there were some US camouflage schemes, not just OD or OD and black. But I am losing bibliographic control. If I find the book, I will try to get you the title and information. Glad to have you along!

It always amazes me how folk seem to drift in here, from lands far and wide. All roads used to lead to Rome, according to the old saying, but all tracks most definitely lead here. Enjoy your stay, JGT :D

Welcome. There are a lot of us that frequent many sites. Each one contributes in it's own way to the hobby.

JGT,

Welcome to the Forum! That's a nice lineup, even if they do need a bit of TLC! And kudos to an introduction with pictures! We love pictures!  Enjoy the site!

Cheers,
Eric.
