Hello TOTM fans.
It's time for the RCTW version of a Milan catwalk, with our very own tankwalk, but unlike Milan, we accept models of all shapes and sizes.
That's military models, from tanks to trucks of any scale, just so long as they're powered via RC.
It's free to enter for any forum member of any skill level, think of it as a way to showcase your pride and joy for all to see and enjoy along with you.
You can find this month's dedicated chat thread here.

I guess I’ll go first;
A challenger 2 in OP Telic trim. Heavily upgraded mechanically and electrically with 2 axis stabilisation, upgraded metal running gear, reinforced chassis, tk60spg2 and PDSGB. Chobham kit, recoil/elevation and crew from armoured models and speaker box from Wcp models.
Painted by Gary farrow and me. Electrical, mechanical upgrades and photos by me.

I'll go 2nd then, well actually my son Oscar is
1/16 Case VAI Tractor done in military colours as would be used on an airfield to move stuff around
Yes it is fully RC, watch video to show being driven by the kids
Has full metal drivetrain using small geared motor, runs 2.4ghz radio gear and small 6g servo for steering. The steering servo was placed in same position that steering box would be on the real thing so it works similar to full size equipment.
The front has a swing axle which does allow good articulation when driving off road.
All wheels and axles are running on metal axles and metal ball races for a good smooth drive.
The tyres were designed for FDM printing using TPU material by Mr Wayne on here
Obviously being driven by a British soldier
Was used in WW2 between 1941 & 1945, although many were used much later after the war.
The tractors were originally designed in the late 1930s
(yes my son likes to turn up the speed to MAX haha)
Since the video it has a much higher torque lower speed motor fitted
I designed this specially for the kids and they both have their own.
Just something a wee bit different

My JS2 'rebuild.
Added some battle damage ( it had shipping damage )
Added PDSGB gearbox and TK80 with my own made soundset
( Yes top hull is not secured in video, needs magnets, and yes tracks are not painted , ran out of 'track' color )

This is a 1:35 scale Tamiya model of the British Mk 4 tank. The original radio control was absolutely unusable, so I substituted electronics from a Heng Long 1:30 scale Pershing tank. This gave me sound, which the Tamiya equipment did not have; engine, cannon and machine gun noises. Of course, the sounds are "probably" not authentic, but who can remember that long ago! At least the Tamiya gearing allows slow movement.
Sorry about the portion of dead footage, I uploaded the raw video by mistake.
