Scammel

Post by Exhibitedbrute »

Hi I want to try and do a design and print on the scammel tank transporter, I think the explorer would suit my crusader quite nicely, does anyone know the cab and bonnet etc dimensions
It’s your tank it’s what you make it

One option might be to pick up a budget model and scale up from that. There are some examples here:

Or, take some measurements here, and scale them to your needs. Images can be downloaded at a % size that suits your needs.

Am I missing something or how would you get any useful information from that blueprints site? The image has no scale or measurements in the image at all.

Pat Kennet the founder of Truck Magazine is probably the most knowledgeable person of all things heavy goods I have ever known,
A really nice man who cared for the drivers as well as the machinery

- Yup , as a subcontracting engineering firm - One of Scammell Special Trucks Division lorry parks was opposite our works on Tolpits Lane.
