January TOTM chat thread.
My apologies. 2021 was a bit of a let down for me, and in turn for you.
But here's to a much better 2022
So, I'll start off the new year with a slightly delayed TOTM if I may.
And I will sort out a new years special for those second placed models through 2021. As well as update the gallery
Also I had the idea of a winners special suggested to me last year, but that would mean I should do that for all the years the TOTM has run.
What do you people think about having something like that, and maybe I could run two normal monthly TOTM's and one "special" till the deed is completed?

I think it’s just what we need. Sounds like great ideas to me. It’s all about having fun and we sure could use some fun this year!

Mick! Glad you're back! I do agree that December of 2021 did blow in a number of various ways for me too!
I agree with Jim that it's a stellar idea but have no idea how you find the time to do this. I do thoroughly enjoy every bit of the contest, even agonizing over who's model to choose. Do whatever you can find the time for, and we'll be happy with it.
Here's to 2022 being better than the last 2 years!
Cheers,
Eric.

Re: January TOTM chat thread.
Happy to see you again! I know what it is to have a bad year. To me and my wife it was 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2021. We hope 2022 will be really better, first, to begin with a new job...
Sorry for my spelling mistakes, I try to do better every day...

Re: January TOTM chat thread.
Thank you for the support chaps.
Well, my Christmas day was spent laying a new carpet, and building a spare bed. We had a delayed Christmas because we couldn't all get together early enough, so spent the time constructive.
Sorry to hear about your woes Fred. Hopefully 2022 will be kind for you.

Oh, so good to hear from you! I sure hope that the woes you suffered in 2021 are past and of no lasting trouble. I enjoy the TOTM and your ideas are just fine with me. But it it's too much work for you, I sure will understand. Above all: HI!

Nice, unique tank SoCalBobS! It looks and runs great. The tank riders are nice as well.
