Taigen Tiger 1 3 in 1 kit

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Hello Frank,

Looks good! Are those plastic tracks or metal? They look like they may have some weight to them and thus some "sag".

Cheers,
Eric.

Frank, it has all the makings of a great, and hopefully enjoyable, model. That Taigen metal/alloy hull is one of the best out there.
Are you planning to paint it? If so, I'd suggest removing the rubber tyres from the wheels- which will likely necessitate removing the wheels again, in fact. Generally, it's best to prime and paint the wheels before adding the tyres, and before the final fitting- ditto with the sprockets and idlers. They can be primed and painted in situ, but it's a real pain, and likely to be messy. :/ :D

No on the motors, easier, if of course Taigen turntable, if other electronics? see servo direction setting, in the transmitter menu
