Double relais for servo imput
Double relais for servo imput
I bourght this in the undestanding that i could get 2 relais functions, using only one channel using a 3 pos. Switch on the TX. However they work in parallel so switch pos 1 trigger both relais, switch in midle borh relais off, switch in pos 2 nothing.
Is there a trick to make this thing do as i want?

Re: Double relais for servo imput
Hi.
What kind of transmitter do you have, is it programable ? and do you have a 3 position switch for flaperons on it ?, and can you program the tx for commands (ie like a turnigy 9x or spektrum dx6i ).
I ask as it looks like the tx is only sending a signal one way, if so you could try the mixing flaperons where you alter the dual rates to +100 one way position 1, -100 the other way position 2 , and 0 both ways when the switch is in the center, this works for a servo to go both ways from a 3 position switch.
Worth a try

Re: Double relais for servo imput
Question? with you doing the test on a track using a 'potentiometer? if not working? worries with platinum ! if works? check the programming on the transmitter of the channel concerned Depending on the use, prefer a 3-position switch, stop in the center
Re: Double relais for servo imput
That K2 is an On/Off switch using a relay. Not a reversible output.
Those NO/Com/NC can handle up to 20A each relay.
In Off position, power travels through the NC/Com circuit. In ON position power travels through the NO/Com circuit.Typical application
1. Connect
- Plug the signal input cable into an idle receiver channel that corresponds to a switch on the remote.
- The power indicator will be illuminated when connected to the receiver.
- The work indicator lights up when the switch channel is open and vice versa.
2. Working mode
- The red LED light indicates the power indicator.
- The blue LED indicates the relay's operating status.
3. Trigger
- Turn the switch on the remote control (OFF->ON), the green LED lights up and the relay starts to work.
Those NO/Com/NC can handle up to 20A each relay.

Re: Double relais for servo imput
From the sound of it you want an PWM controlled 3-position switch. (SPDT)
100% Signal = Power goes from A to B
50 % Signal = No power
0% Signal = Power goes from B to A
N/M I am wrong on this...
You want the following (or similar)
100% Signal = Relay Switch A activated only
50 % Signal = Neither relay switch is active
0% Signal = Relay Switch B activated only
100% Signal = Power goes from A to B
50 % Signal = No power
0% Signal = Power goes from B to A

Re: Double relais for servo imput
So the K2 is a simultaneous switch of both relays which is what you posted.
A Q1 version is what you need to be looking for.

Re: Double relais for servo imput
Jarlaht's explanation is quite plausible, but I would still test it on a channel equipped with a potentiometer? i think what you want? is to order each relay separately? So you have to use a 3-position switch, which goes back to Jarlath's explanation. Center 0% left 100% , 100% right bottom
if not, the one at the link below should be fine

Re: Double relais for servo imput
Thanks for your interest.
I have tried a pot. channel and its the same. Full stick trigger both relais, half stick off.
China purchase via Aliexpress is not an option anymore because of taxes and fees, but thanks for the link. I will try and find it inside the EU.

Re: Double relais for servo imput
I understand, that following the new applications on taxes, "Aliexpress" has become less attractive, but at the price offered, compared to a supplier from the EU, and still have to be found ?? it remains reasonable, finally is only my opinion. On the different weeb sites visited, nothing found
Re: Double relais for servo imput
Its not the taxes ( vat) . Thats 25% here in DK, its the fee that customs charge for collecting the tax. They charge about 20 £ no matter what the parcel is worth.Jofaur86 wrote: I understand, that following the new applications on taxes, "Aliexpress" has become less attractive, but at the price offered, compared to a supplier from the EU, and still have to be found ?? it remains reasonable, finally is only my opinion. Ebay has started a service of charging the tax, so the customs fee can be avoided. Aliexpress has to copy that.
