Serious Question Time!!
Well, I've sold a large chunk of my "unwanted styrene loft insulation". Aka my stash of static model kits. I've spend a lot of time at home the last year-and-a-half, and I hardly touched them. So off they went! First pondered selling them one by one on the various forums and sales websites, but the hassle of advertising, haggling (Ye gods, I HATE the haggling...) and posting of stuff made me pause.
Then I remembered a mate from one of the forums who LIVES for the haggle... So I offered them to him as a lot. Had a price in my head, let him make the first offer... Score!! His offered topped my price by a fair chunck, so next Friday I am bringing him a car-load of model kits.
Now to the serious question; If one would buy a -fourth- tank, what would one go for, considering one already owns a Sherman/Firefly, Panzer IV and KV-1...?
TTFN,
Rob

Everyone has a tiger 1, so it is excusable that he does not have a tiger 1.
As a fourth tank, I would buy one that is rare.

Re: Serious Question Time!!
I vote for an initial production Tiger1. That’ll keep you busy and still have a rarely modeled tank.

RTR ( WW2 ) British tanks are thin on the ground at the moment, off the top of my head I can only think of the Hooben Cromwell hopefully somebody can think of something else

R1970,
What Midlife and Jim said! You could go a bit rarer by making it a KT! Or better yet one with the Porsche turret?!
Or a sexy JP?!
Cheers,
Eric.

How do you not have a Leopard? Get a model of a real tank, not antique modified farm equipment.

Ooh, that hurts! But Shagnifico you are very correct! The big Leopard! My favorite modern tank! I'm ashamed I didn't think of it first!Shagnifico wrote:How do you not have a Leopard? Get a model of a real tank, not antique modified farm equipment.
