Taigen late war Tiger 1 build

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Taigen late war Tiger 1 build

Post by DasPanzer »

Topper if you look at my thread of my Late production tiger I use a lot of the parts from east coast armory. Also don’t forget about the extra armor on the turret roof

Dont forget to remove the unneeded aerial tube from the left/drivers side ;)
You will also need to add a turret ring armoured band that protects the gap between turret and hull, its a late version indicator.

Do you have a specific machine in mind or are you freestylin it  !!
unless I'm mistaken? Herman talks about this piece, this one was cut from a sheet of ABS,( reed)

I don't think it's all done? so a bit of manual work, also remove that ugly set of molded edge, and replace with metal  Good day.

All the best and thanks for all the help!!!

Place the blade of a screwdriver/penknife through the viewing slit of the cupola and gently I SAID GENTLY !!! Lift the blade,
Remove the blade and place it in the opposite viewing slit and again GENTLY LIFT the blade,
You should hear the crack of the glue failing,
Lift the cupola off and note the locating hole for the placing of the replacement cupola.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
