Firefly IC composite 1/16

Post by tomhugill »

Hi folks,

I've decided to put one of my fireflies up for sale.

This is an IC composite, based on a Canadian example with the unusual Churchill track extra armour and a decoy muzzle brake
Image

She's an absolutely fab runner and battler.

Has the following spec.

- Full metal mato lower
- Metal mato bogies
- Mato steel ball raced gearboxes
- Metal mato t-74 duckbill tracks
- Metal mato sprockets and idlers
- Dklm CNC servo recoil and elevation
- Tamiya tbu base and hidden emitter in mantlet
- IBU3 control board
- Tamiya speaker and enclosure (very loud!)
- schumo scope guards
- schumo tow cables and holder
- Working hatches
- Many scratch built details such as the stowage bin, bedding boxes
- Shape ways hatch scopes
- Resin composite upper hull
- Resin low bustle turret
- Metal Churchill track extra armour
- Custom commander figure

Tank can be collection from Salford or can be shipped world wide at the buyers cost and risk.

After £900

That is definitely a piece of artwork. It’s impressive inside and out.

That’s a nice example, something I home to get round to building at some point, sadly 900 is a little out of my range. Salford? Have we spoke else where at some point with reguards to a paint commission, about a firefly as it happens
It’s your tank it’s what you make it

Gee, I wish it were not so far away and my current budget were in recovery mode from all my spending and what my son-in-law called my "debt avoidance" penchant. :( Anyway, I do like the perfect camouflage scheme on the lower hull and running gear. ;) :P

Tom,
As long as you retain at least one form of Firefly in your collection, than it's OK! It at least removes some of the sting!

Cheers,
Eric.
